Izzy Update

Izzy loves to lay on top of the couch back cushion.

There is never a dull minute with Izzy. We had a busy week. She started sneezing the week before and it was increasing. No sign of illness so I was worried about a foreign body. So, into the vet we went. I appreciate that our vet always gets us in. There wasn't anything obvious so we decided to watch and if it doesn't improve or worsens, she will have to go under anesthesia so they can get a better look and possibly do a flush and/or rhinoscopy. Thankfully it seems to be getting better. We got a chance to weigh her and she is now 61 pounds! Izzy started her next training class and did great. We worked on loose leash walking, stay/wait and being calm with distractions. We typically training several times a day for short amounts of time and I wondered if we should be doing longer sessions, but what we are doing is working. That afternoon she had a play date with Juno and when we went out that night, she slept soundly in her crate. I came down with a cold and Izzy was so good. She even snuggled with me. Today we took her to a Sniff Spot to play with Iylah. They had a blast! Video below.
