It's hard to believe we have had Izzy for over 3 months now! Time really flies! She has grown so quickly! She lost her last baby canines last week. Her adult teeth are much smoother than those razor-sharp baby teeth. She rarely bites now and when she does, it's gentle. Two months ago, I didn't have any confidence in teaching her to have a soft mouth, but she does.
We remodeled our family room as the x-pen was too flimsy and wasn't allowing the cats to come in. With the new set-up, the cats are coming in and even hanging out. In fact, she has almost won GrayC over completely. GrayC spends much of her time in the family room now and I think is happy to be able to lay in our laps again. Every once in awhile Izzy gets too excited and GrayC hisses but overall, they are doing well. This past week, Stitch has been coming in too! They are even hanging out together. Stitch still gets nervous, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Izzy loves daycare! Sadly, this is her last week. Dogs 6 months and over need to be spayed and we won't be spaying Izzy any time soon, if we do. Luckily, she has 4 friends she plays with regularly. This week she got to play with Runa. Check out the video. I included a clip of the first time they met and played at Training Spot. They have really grown!
Izzy learns so quickly! We have added "Shake" to her repertoire and are working on "Stay". Loose leash walking is one of our goals as is polite greetings. She does well in areas she is familiar with but gets so excited in other places. We are making progress with her being apart from us in her crate. That was something I never thought would be as challenging as it is, but we are getting there and even danced on Sunday. She got her first bath last week. Not her favorite experience but she did OK. The next day she played with two of her friends in the pouring rain and mud lol.
