18 weeks old? Really?

Izzy is just over 4 months old. We have had her for just over 2 months. We have done so much in 2 months, and she has grown up so much in 2 months! It has flown by, and I now see why they say to embrace puppyhood even though it is challenging. Her personality becomes clearer every day. She is smart! She learns so quickly. She is becoming so verbal and makes the funniest sounds. She is funny and can be so silly when she plays. She makes us laugh every day. She is finally realizing that she is hurting us when she bites (although sometimes she just can't help herself). She uses her forelegs to reach out to us and is so cute when she covers her face with her paws. She is starting to cuddle on the couch. She lets me put her harness on without biting now. She can now walk 2.5 miles. She loves to play and loves to play with her puppy friends. She loves other dogs but patiently sits while they pass when we are walking. She is starting to understand that the cats don't want her to get so excited. She also is learning barking is not the way to get a meal. She has conquered her fear of children and bravely faced 26 second graders. She has graduated from Puppy Preschool and is now in Puppy Kindergarten. She is a great traveler and an awesome camping companion. She can now stay 2 hours alone in her crate (with only 5 minutes of barking and crying). She settles on her mat. She has not had an accident in 7 weeks and sleeps through the night. She loves people and if looks at everyone expecting a pet. Puppies aren't easy but Izzy is so worth all the work and challenges.
