Getting to Know You

Izzy has a new friend, Juno. Juno is a 1.5-year-old black lab my friend adopted as a teen. Izzy and Juno have walked together twice prior to their date. I was afraid Izzy might be a bit too rough for Juno and initially she was a bit intimidated. We gave them some time and before we knew it they were taking turns playing chase and next they were wrestling. They played so well together, taking turns at chase and who was on top as they wrestled. They were also able to take breaks and near the end of their date and just hang out together. While I feel like Izzy's social planner, I am so thankful for Izzy's play dates and the friends we have both made.
